Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has secured a €422m contract from Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) to build the sister ship of Seven Seas Explorer for its Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) brand. Hyundai Samho Bags Suezmax Duo

Oshima to Build Four More Bulkers for Fednav

Canadian shipowner and operator Fednav has ordered four more dry bulk carriers from a Japanese shipbuilder Oshima Shipbuilding, according to Clarksons Platou Shipbroking. Under the contract, the shipyard will construct four 34,500 dwt bulkers which will be fitted to operate on the Great Lakes of North America. Singapore-based ship owner U-Ming Marine Transport has signed a contract for the construction of two 81,500 dwt bulk carriers.
