Greece-based oil tanker owner and operator Maran Tankers has confirmed an order for two more Very Large Crude Carriers placed with Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME). The deal, signed November 18, is for two 319,000 DWT VLCCs scheduled for delivery in 2017.
