DongBac Shipbuilding Industry Joint Stock Company launched of 12.500DWT general cargo vessel - Hull No.DB05, named “TRUONGMINH OCEAN” on December 06th 2013.
This is the first vessel belong to a series 12.500DWT to be built by Dongbac ship building JSC for Truong Minh international joint stock company and built under supervision and classification of RINA Class.
This vessel was designed by Kitada ship design company- Japan, Principle dimensions of the vessel as follows: Length overall: 136.4m; breadth moulded: 20.2m; depth moulded: 11.3m; deadweight: 12.500DWT; main engine: Akasaka 7UEC33LS II (Japan). Output: 3,965Kw x 215 min.-1
Beside it, Dongbacshin also carried out the keel laying for the second vessel with hull. DB06 belong to a series 12.500DWT general cargo vessel.
The successful launching of the largest tonnage vessel prior to this time marked an importance step of Dongbac ship building industry JSC in the economies of the world is worsening due to the Europe financial crisis and that this demonstrates the ongoing efforts, overcome difficulties and challenges of the market, gaining brand awareness and qualifications of workmanship of Dongbac’ workers.
